The panel on Suptech inclusiveness and competiton focused on how supervisors in organizations that haven’t undergone digital transformation can compete with other digitally-savvy competitors. Our amazing panelists, including Anna Wallace from The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Juan Carlos Izaguirre  from CGAP, World Bank Group and Noel Guinto from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, explored the world of SupTech tools and their potential to revolutionize regulatory decision-making. They also highlighted that there is a risk of exclusion and inequality if suptech solutions aren’t designed with inclusiveness in mind. That’s why the panelists emphasized the importance of developing suptech solutions that consider the needs and perspectives of all stakeholders, especially those who are vulnerable or marginalized. They discussed the need for collaboration and ethical considerations. In other words, suptech has the potential to transform regulatory compliance and supervisory activities, but we need to ensure that the benefits are shared inclusively and that they don’t contribute to inequality.
