State of SupTech

The annual State of SupTech Report is based on a survey of supervisory authorities that encompass central banks, securities and capital market regulators, financial conduct authorities, pension regulators, insurance supervisors, and other financial regulatory and supervisory agencies, offering a well-rounded perspective on how suptech is transforming financial supervision worldwide.

Drawing on this robust dataset, the Report provides a comprehensive global overview of supervisory technology (suptech) across various dimensions, including the supervisory use cases it supports, the blockers and enablers tied to underlying digital infrastructure and technologies and the change management processes integral to supervisory agencies’ digital transformation. It also examines the approaches and strategies employed in developing and deploying suptech applications, along with the associated challenges and risks. It also presents a year-on-year analysis using data from previous State of SupTech surveys.
