Transforming data analytics and Supervision Technology tools (SupTech)

The Centre for Central Banking Studies (CCBS) at the Bank of England is hosting a two-day webinar titled Transforming Data Analytics and Supervision Technology Tools (SupTech) on 15–16 October 2025. The event will gather leading experts and practitioners from global financial authorities to explore how supervisory technology (SupTech) is reshaping financial regulation and oversight.

As the digitisation of the financial services industry accelerates, supervisors worldwide are adopting innovative data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning tools to enhance supervisory effectiveness and proactively identify emerging risks. The webinar will highlight success stories, ethical considerations in AI adoption, and showcase cutting-edge SupTech solutions developed by the Bank of England and other authorities.

A key highlight of the event will be a keynote session on the State of SupTech, delivered by Simone di Castri, Co-Head & Co-Founder of the Cambridge SupTech Lab and the CEO & Co-Founder of Digital Transformation Solutions, alongside Carmen Barandela, Senior Manager at the Bank of England. This session will provide global insights into the evolving landscape of supervisory technology, emerging trends, and the digital transformation of financial supervision.

The event will also feature live demonstrations, panel discussions on AI ethics and innovation, and opportunities for dialogue and knowledge sharing among supervisors, data scientists, and innovators driving the future of financial oversight.
