Keynote session by Simone Di Castri (Co-Head – The Cambridge SupTech Lab)
Failure is an inevitable part of any workplace, but it is also a crucial component of growth and development. Through failure, employees can learn valuable lessons, develop resilience, and improve their problem-solving skills. Body language can also play an important role in dealing with failure. Positive body language, such as maintaining eye contact and an open posture, can convey confidence and a willingness to learn from mistakes. On the other hand, negative body language, such as slouching or avoiding eye contact, can signal a lack of accountability or a reluctance to learn. By embracing failure and using positive body language, employees can turn setbacks into opportunities for growth and success.
